Help for Purchasing from our IT Training Product Shop
The IT Training Product shop will allow you to purchase various IT Training products, using our secure payment process. This is a page to help you through the purchase process, and you can come back to this page at any time in the purchase process to find help on each stage, by using the link on the left hand side of the page.
Selecting your product to purchase:
The first page you will go to is the DVD training products page - This will give you a list of the currently featured products, together with their price. You will also see two links under each product picture, a 'More Info' button and a 'Buy Now' button. 'More Info' will take you to another page where you will be able to find out more about the product, select any options required, and you can then decide whether to purchase the product. Some product details pages also have other links, e.g. to allow viewing of a sample of a video.
Completing Your Purchase
When you click on the 'Buy Now' Button you will be going through several stages to complete your purchase. Here is a summary of the process:
Click on the 'Buy Now' button to start
Confirm the purchase details, and add any optional extras using the list box that may appear, eg. Video Format, Multibuy.
IMPORTANT - make sure you click on the 'update' button to confirm the options, then click on the 'Checkout' button. [If you want to purchase another item, then click on the 'Continue Shopping' button instead of 'Checkout'.]
If you are not logged in as a member of our website, or you have not enrolled as a member, you will then be asked to either login with your member details or register your details. This allows us to obtain your address details for delivery of your purchases etc., and allows you to create login information that you can use when you visit us again. You will then be asked to confirm your address/shipping details using the 'Submit' button.
You may have been given a 'Coupon Code' that gives you a discount on your purchases. If so you will be able to enter this at the next stage before confirming your order. You may perform any corrections and/or remove items at several stages during the process by using the buttons provided for this.
The final stage is when you see a complete summary of your order and address details, and a 'Paypal' button at the bottom. Clicking on the Paypal button will take you through the payment process. Payment details are handled securely via the well-known shopping software, Paypal, which is used by many people across the world for shopping online.
[NOTE: During this part of the payment process the business name 'COMMUNITY IT SERVICES' will be displayed. This is our parent company name as registered with Paypal. When you complete the payment process click on 'Return to Community IT Services' and you will actually be returned to this website.]
When you have completed your purchase, details of how to access your product will be displayed. If you have ordered a 'physical' product such as a DVD, this will be sent by First-class post to you (UK only) or by Air Mail for International orders. If you have ordered a digital product such as access to online videos or ebooks, details of how to access these will be displayed at the end of the payment process.
